03 / ownership and continuity
Your notes, our platform
You keep ownership of original notes, plans, descriptions, and other material you submit, subject to rights you may already owe to others. You must have the necessary rights and permissions before sharing material, including game artwork, trademarks, quotations, or another person’s personal information.
By submitting content to QuestNest, you give the operator a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to host, store, reproduce, format, display, and technically process that content only as reasonably needed to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the service and to make it available through features you choose to use. This permission ends when the content is removed or the account is closed, except for copies retained where needed for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or reliable backups.
QuestNest’s name, interface, original text, visual design, and software belong to the operator or its licensors unless stated otherwise. These terms do not transfer those rights to you. Game names, characters, artwork, and other third-party materials remain with their respective owners.
The service may change, pause, or become unavailable, including for maintenance, security work, feature changes, or circumstances outside the operator’s reasonable control. Features and stored content should not be treated as permanently available, so keep any records you cannot afford to lose. The operator may update the service and these terms; material changes should be communicated in a reasonably noticeable way where practicable. Continued use after an updated version takes effect means you accept the update, except where applicable law requires another process.
